Foothill Farms residents tell Sac County Supervisors of difficulties with Roseville Road encampments

During public comment on non-agenda items at the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors meeting, three people spoke about difficulties with Roseville Road encampments.

The Foothill Farms residents (see the video below), all of whom have houses backing on Roseville Road, spoke during the February 7, 2023, meeting. Because the comments were made on non-agenda items, no action could be taken by the Supervisors or county staff.

One speaker described an incident where fences were reportedly intentionally damaged and numerous vehicles were located in no parking areas.

"Cops can't do anything," Foothill Farms resident Rick Addison told the supervisors. "I call them quite often. They told me to come to these meetings."

Roseville Road has been identified as having a high concentration of homeless encampments. A large portion of individuals along Roseville Road live in a variety of vehicles.

The three speakers live near Roseville Road and Tacomic Drive.
