One adult, two juveniles assault teenage for cell phone
Elk Grove police arrested one male adult and two juvenile males for allegedly assaulting a teenage girl early Monday night on the 5000 block of Laguna Blvd. in Elk Grove.
According to police reports, 20-year old suspect Johnny Harris hit the female victim in the face, threw her to the ground and held here while the 16-year old juvenile male suspect stole the phone the victims pocket. The third suspect, a 15-year old juvenile male did not participate but did not attempt to stop the assault and robbery.
Harris and the two juveniles fled in different directions but were apprehended by officers. The phone and other possessions were returned to the victim. Harris was transported to the county jail while the two juveniles were transported to juvenile hall.
