Elk Grove Wal Mart Evacuated After Vague Phone Threat

The Wal Mart store on Elk Grove Boulevard in Elk Grove was evacuated yesterday afternoon after the store received a vague phone threat.According to Elk Grove Police, an unidentified male called the store and told an employee they had five minutes to live. There was no specific mention of any explosive devise or how the threat would happen.Store management decided to evacuate the building and contacted Elk Grove Police. After a check for anything suspicious in the store came up negative, the store was reopened about one hour later.
