Elk Grove Man Arrested For Sexual Assault Of Daughter

On August 10, 2009, the Elk Grove Police Department arrested a 51-year-old registered sex offender for sexually assaulting his 25-year-old biological daughter who has Down Syndrome.


Eddie Jaramillo was arrested by officers from the Elk Grove Police Department after he voluntarily came to the police department for questioning around 5:00 p.m. yesterday.

Officers were originally contacted by Jaramillo’s daughter yesterday afternoon, when she came to the police department with another adult to report the assaults that had taken place over the last eight months. Jaramillo has been an Elk Grove resident for the last six months.

According to detectives, there is no indication that there are any other victims in this case. Jaramillo is currently in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail and is being held on a bail of $175,000.00.
