Below find the complete 460 filing for Elk Grove City Council member Jim Cooper. The attached forms only reflect the filings for his run for the city council, not Cooper's announced candidacy for Sacramento County Sheriff.

Although Cooper is a strong early favorite to replace retiring Sheriff John McGinness, is he loses that bid, he will still have two year left on the city council.

Dependening on the outcome of the Elk Grove's city charter initiative, Coooper could still run for mayor of Elk Grove. It is to early though to read the tea leaves with any degree of accuracy.

He will not only never be Sheriif, he will never be elected Mayor. The skeletons in his closet are too vast. Just see how poorly he did this last election. An unknown with no money gave him a run for his money. A strong candidate that is fully funded will take him out. As far as Mayor is concerned, hopefully its nobody on the Council.

I agree with you 100%
I was hoping he woulkd have been taken out this past election. We now know he is vulnerable. Hopefully he suffers humiliating loses every race hereafter and decides to spend time with his family rather than whoring around town with a new girl everytime. Shameless SOB!!!!
