Assembly Member Joan Buchanan will host a free pancake breakfast this Saturday morning at the Elk Grove Senior Center. Buchanan represents California's 15th Assembly District which includes a large portion of Elk Grove.
During the breakfast, which is scheduled from 10 AM to 12 PM, Buchanan will discuss the budget and other legislative issues.
"My top priorities this year are creating jobs, ensuring that all our children receive a high quality public education and creating a state government that operates in a fiscally responsible manner," Buchanan said. "California's working families deserve no less."
The Senior Center is located at 8830 Sharkey Avenue, Elk Grove, 95624.
Buchanan would also like to remind constituents of her Elk Grove satellite district office. The office is located at 8401 Laguna Palms Way and is available the first Thursday of every month from 1 to 5 PM.
Constituents are invited to stop by to discuss problems with state agencies, past or future legislation, and community issues. Informational brochures will also be available.
