Free whooping cough vacinations in Sacramento County

The Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services Immunization Assistance Program is offering free whooping cough vaccination clinics in August.

State law requires that all 7th-12th graders be immunized against pertussis (whooping cough) within 30 days of starting school.

Individuals age 10 and older can receive a whooping cough booster shot (called a Tdap) at the following locations:

11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13
11th Annual Healthy Kids Day
