24 Hour Shopping - EGPD Catches Wal Mart Overnight Shoplifters

Four Sacramento men who decided to make a suspected overnight shoplifting trip to Elk Grove's 24 hour Wal Mart were apprehended by police early Wednesday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police, 30-year old Lawrence Wiley and 24-year old Joshua Tanesco reportedly fought with a loss prevention employee after they were observed shoplifting at the Elk Grove Blvd. store. The two suspects fled on foot and in car.

Responding officers located the vehicle being driven by 39-year old Rodney Glover and passengers 22-year old Dillon Crook and suspect Tanesco. Suspect Tanesco who fled on foot was also located by a responding officer.

After the Wal Mart employee positively identified Tanesco and Wiley, all four were arrested. All  the suspects are in custody at the county jail on robbery and conspiracy charges.
