Elk Grove Police Experience Relatively Calm Four Day Holiday Period

For the four day Christmas Holiday period starting Christmas Eve day through last night, the Elk Grove Police experienced a relatively calm period.
During the 96-hour period, Elk Grove Police reported three arrests for outstanding warrants, two for drunk driving, two for trespassing, and one each for domestic violence, drug possession and public intoxication.
On Thursday evening 39-year old Manjit Kharod of Elk Grove was arrested after he allegedly scratched and slapped his victim during a domestic violence incident. The victim suffered a visible injury.
The three suspects arrested for outstanding warrants were 34-year old Katrina Ramirez of Sacramento, 34-yearold Jesse Slate of Elk Grove and 35-year old Kaopoo Saepharn of Elk Grove. Slate remains in custody ineligible for bail on six felony commitment rearrests including possession of brass knuckles and burglary charges while Ramirez and Saepharn were issued citations, issued new court dates and released on their own recognizance.
Arrested on suspicion of drunk driving were 28-year old Shana Washington and 29-year old Jessica Baca, both of Elk Grove. Police also arrested 49-year old Kao Saechao of Elk Grove on suspicion of public intoxication.
