A Sacramento woman remains in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after being arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

Just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30 Elk Grove Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Renwick Avenue in the Laguna West neighborhood. Police officers contacted Tina Faircloth, 33, who fled on foot.

Faircloth reportedly was detained a short distance away as she was trying to enter a parked car. A records check showed the vehicle had been reported stolen and a search of Faircloth led to the discovery of a controlled substance.

Faircloth is being held on three felony and two misdemeanor charges with bail set at $60,000. Arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, February 1.
