Elk Grove Police will conduct DUI, license checkpoint Sunday, September 1

As part of their on-going effort to address impaired driving, the Elk Grove Police have announced a DUI and drivers' license checkpoint will be held this weekend.

The checkpoint will start at 7 p.m on Sunday, September 1 and will run through 3 a.m. on Monday, September 2. The location of the checkpoint within Elk Grove city limits was not disclosed.

Funding for the sobriety checkpoint is provided through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
