You can only finance a city through taxes or fees, we have both. Vote for a sales tax?? Bull, we have two wonderful examples of how BRIGHT the city management is. We have a joke for a MALL ,( loss of thousands thru tax give backs ) and 10 mil for a soccer field that isn't even in our city. New business moving in? NRC, per LinkedIn info. shows they have a 16msf building and 1-10 employees in Fremont. They may grow, but even Intel is reducing in size. What we need are managers who first look to have the people of EG profit, before they claim to profit for their efforts.
Don't give them any greater amounts of your hard earned money until they are more responsible in their spending.Enough !!https://www.blogger.com/profile/07166031074204764505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-693256921060044086.post-78501641114905861822016-04-22T14:06:48.840-07:002016-04-22T14:06:48.840-07:00If anything, the traffic Mr. Gougherty speaks of i...If anything, the traffic Mr. Gougherty speaks of is understated. Traffic on 5 or 99 on weekends or even during midday non-ush hours is beginning to resemble the 405 in Los Angeles or the Riverside Freeway in Orange County.

Have you ever tried to transverse Elk Grove Boulevard or Laguna Boulevard? It is not uncommon for a trip from one side of town to the other to take in excess of 20 minutes.

Ms. Wheat's statement that this is as good as it is going to be is unfortunately accurate. Time for our city fathers to rethink how development is approached, but like traffic, this is probably the best they are willing to do. Capt. Taxpayers will pay for the Connector, Developers will reap the rewards.

For every car the Connector diverts off Highway 99, at least 10 more new ones will be added to the Connector due to urbanization of the land along the Connector. The snow job about the Connector relieving congestion is a ruse to qualify for federal and state grant money.

Vote Yes for a new Sales Tax!

Ace of Spadeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01387523222829703208noreply@blogger.com
