Elk Grove Senior Center Volunteers Honored by Nottoli, Sacramento BOS

As part of Sacramento County’s official recognition of May as “Older Americans Month,” the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors and the Sacramento Adult and Aging Commission took the opportunity to honor several senior volunteers during their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 3.

Among those honored were Elk Grove residents Donna and Ken Flavell. Fifth District Supervisor Don Nottoli noted the couple volunteer numerous hours to the center and their work ranges from driving seniors to appointment to distributing food from the Elk Grove Food Closet.
