Elk Grove actor is leading man in Shakespeare's Taming of The Shrew

Mark Cornfield  plays Petruchio, in Taming of the Shrew at Carvalho's Winery at The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg Ca, Aug 11, 12, 14 ( Thur-Fri-Sun ) for their last weekend run of the annual "Shakespeare on the Vine" winery event With Carvalho's Winery. Performances are at 6:30 pm Dinner with Show optional.

Mark produced, directed and performed in a theatre group in Elk Grove for many years and has done so in the bay area and beyond.

His "other profession" is as an educator, but his first love is theatre. His command and presence on stage validates his passion and love for the 'art' of acting. Along with a talented cast, especially his leading lady Cynthia Davis who plays Kate (the shrew) and her sister Bianca played by Amelia Silbert-Geiger are sure to thoroughly entertain you and transport you to a better place in Padua Italy for the almost 2 hr show!
