Elk Grove School District's Supt. Steven Ladd Target of 'Parents' Ire

Typically Elk Grove News has not included schools and the Elk Grove Unified School District in our regular coverage - we just have so many resources and the Elk Grove Citizen has done an adequate job of covering the sprawling district. Recently though, a clandestine group calling themselves Elk Grove Parents has reached out to EGN.

Their biggest gripe is what they characterize as the inconsistencies between Elk Grove Unified School District Superintendent Steven Ladd's compensation package and the constriction of district employees benefits.

The group has also directed EGN to numerous YouTube video criticizing Ladd and the board members of the district. Here is one of the videos.

Clearly Elk Grove Parents, who has not fully revealed their identity to EGN, has a major bone to pick with Ladd and the school board. We hope to make contact with this group and provide more information on what will surely be an interesting election story.
