Man Drives Stolen Car With Missing Wheel, Gets Arrested by Elk Grove Police

Call it the case of a criminal operating without a full set of wheels.

That was the situation Elk Grove Police came upon early Saturday morning when they spotted a Sacramento man driving a car on the 5100 block of Laguna Boulevard without its front right wheel. After pulling over the less-than-a-full-set-of-wheels driver, police detained 20-year old Joelle Blakely of Sacramento. 

A records search revealed the car was reported stolen out of Roseville and a search of Blakely led to the discovery of narcotics. Blakely was arrested and booked into the county jail.

No word on how far Blakely drove the car without the missing wheels.
