Elk Grove Man Arrested on Suspicion of Selling Marijuana, Violating Probation

An Elk Grove man is being held at the Sacramento County Jail after a Friday afternoon traffic stop.

The suspect, 21-year old  was operating a vehicle near Bruceville Road and Center Parkway that was stopped for a code violation. A records check revealed the suspect was on probation and a subsequent search led to the discovery of marijuana, cash, and indicia of illegal sales.

The suspect was booked into the county jail where he is being held on one misdemeanor and two felony charges. Because of his previous arrest record which included one felony and two misdemeanor charges, he is not currently eligible for bail. Arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
