An Elk Grove man is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail facing kidnapping and other felony charges after a welfare check requested by Solano County Child Protective Services.

On the late afternoon of Monday, November 14, Elk Grove Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Story Way regarding a welfare check request from Solano County Child Protective Services. Officers also determined that Green forced the victim into a vehicle when she was walking down the street in
Woodland, Calif. Officers arrested Green and he was booked into the county jail
