Fairfield Police Arrests 2 Juveniles Suspected in Shooting, Robbery of Gaming Console

Fairfield, Calif. - Fairfield Police arrested two male juveniles on suspicion of shooting and robbing a juvenile victim for a gaming console.

The two Fairfield residents, ages 16 and 17 were taken into custody on Friday, April 14 and placed in juvenile hall in an incident that left the 16-year old male victim with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The robbery and shooting occurred on the evening of Thursday, April 13 when the victim. who was selling the console, agreed to meet the suspects. When the victim arrived with the game system, he was approached by the suspect, who pulled out a handgun and demanded the property.  

The victim complied, but a struggle ensued and the suspect shot the victim twice.  The suspect then fled with the game system and the victim drove himself to an area hospital.

The suspects were apprehended at a Fairfield motel. The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.


The 16-year old was arrested for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and violation of probation. The 17-year old was arrested for possessing a concealed firearm, possessing stolen property, and possessing a controlled substance for sale.
