Juvenile Who Allegedly Brandished Gun Arrested by Elk Grove Police; SWAT Unit Deployed

A juvenile was taken into custody for an incident where he allegedly brandished a handgun.

Yesterday Elk Grove Police along with the department's SWAT served a search warrant on the 15-year old's residence on the 9300 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road. Detectives determined that the suspect was responsible for an incident that occurred on April 19 at an area fast-food restaurant where he allegedly pointed a firearm at a patron from a vehicle after being involved an argument.

The suspect is being charged with penal code 422, threats to cause in death or great bodily injury; and PC 417, brandishing a firearm. The suspect is in custody at juvenile hall.
