Probationer Arrested by Elk Grove Police After Receiving Call on Suspicious Vehicle

A call regarding a suspicion vehicle led to the arrest of a man suspected of possessing a stolen trailer.

In the early afternoon of Monday, July 10, Elk Grove Police responded to a call regarding a suspicion vehicle parked on the 8300 block of Sheldon Road. When officers responded, they contacted the occupants of the vehicle.

One of the occupants, Dennis Lee Wilson, 51, was found to be on probation. A records check revealed a trailer attached to the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Wilson was arrested and booked into the county jail where he is being held on a $100,000 bail. Arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12.
