Domestic Violence Suspect Allegedly Strikes Victim With Tire Iron, Arrested by Elk Grove Police

An Elk Grove man is being held at the Sacramento County Jail after being charged with several counts including assault with a deadly weapon in relation to a domestic violence incident.

Late on the evening of Wednesday, August 2 Karl Dustin Armour, 35, allegedly was involved in a domestic violence incident with his victim. As part of that incident, Armour reportedly struck his victim in the head with a tire iron and pushing the victim to the ground.

After the altercation, Armour fled the location and was located by Elk Grove Police officers during a vehicle enforcement stop. Armour was arrested and is facing allegations of domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, and corporal punishment on a spouse or cohabitant.

Bail has been set at $60,000 and arraignment is scheduled for Friday, August 4.
