Elk Grove Man Assaulted, Injured While Taking Dog For Late Night Walk

An Elk Grove man was attacked and injured as he took his dog on a late night walk.

The victim, who was contacted at an area hospital by Elk Grove Police after he sought emergency medical attention, told officers he was attacked near Di Lusso Drive and Casa Alameda Way around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21. According to police report the victim was walking his dog when he was approached by three unknown suspects and was assaulted. 

One of the suspects was described as a Black male adult, approximately 18, 160 lbs., with medium length dreadlocks, and was wearing a black hoody and blue jeans.

There was no report of stolen property and no additional information is available on the other two suspects.
