Elk Grove Probationer Arrested After Allegedly Firing Two Rounds at Victim

An Elk Grove probationer is being held at the Sacramento County Jail after he allegedly fired two rounds at his victim.

Just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 17 Johnny Alan Turnbull, 23, arrived at a residence on the 8900 block of Laguna Vista Court. Turnbull allegedly fired two rounds from a handgun at this victim, and missed, who was in the garage.

Responding Elk Grove Police officers located and detained Turnbull on the 9400 block of 9400 Laguna Creek Drive. Officers locate and recovered the handgun, which a records check had been reported stolen.

Turnbull is being held on eight felony charges including assault with a deadly weapon. The suspect will be arraigned on Tuesday, September 19.
