Four Suspects Pull Ruse, Rob Elk Grove Residence at Gunpoint

Four unknown men robbed an Elk Grove residence at gunpoint after tricking the occupant to gain entry into their dwelling.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 25, the four suspects approached the victim outside their residence on the 8700 block of Carissa Way in north Elk Grove. To gain entry the robbery team used an undisclosed ruse on their victim.

Once inside the residence, one of the suspects brandished a gun and demanded personal property. The other suspects searched and took undisclosed property from the house, and upon their exit, locked the victims in the bathroom.

The four suspects left in a dark-colored SUV and the victims were physically injured. The suspects were described as one Black in his thirties, one Asian in his forties, and two Hispanics in their thirties.
