Suspect In Custody For Violating Restraining Order, Charged With Stalking By Elk Grove Police

A suspect who was arrested last week after he led Elk Grove Police on a vehicle pursuit and for violating a restraining order was slapped with additional charges.

The suspect, Harold Joseph Marshall, 42, of Redding, California was charged yesterday with additional felony stalking and misdemeanor violation of a restraining order and domestic violence. Marshall allegedly contacted the victim while in custody.  

When Marshall was arrested last week, he was charged with violating a restraining order and for leading police on a vehicle pursuit. He was picked up by the Sacramento Sheriff's Department on Wednesday, October 25 after Elk Grove Police discontinued the original pursuit for public safety reasons.

Marshall's next arraignment is scheduled for November 1, and he continues to be held on a bail of $160,000.
