Elk Grove Police took three suspects into custody yesterday on suspicion of domestic violence charges.

Jessica Estrada, 18, of Elk Grove was placed under arrest after she allegedly threw a baby bottle and hitting her victim in the face. Estrada remains in custody at the county jail on two felony domestic violence charges and is scheduled for arraignment on Friday, December 29.

Ahmad Masoud Neshat, 29, of Elk Grove was taken into custody after he reportedly slapped and pinned his victim to the ground during a physical confrontation. Neshat is being held on two misdemeanor charges and is scheduled for arraignment on Friday, December 29.

The third suspect taken into custody, Derek Hoffman, 31, of Elk Grove was contacted by police officers on the 9600 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road during a call for service. Records check revealed Hoffman had an outstanding warrant from 2016 for felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. 

Hoffman remains in custody at the county jail and is not eligible for immediate release.
