Stalking Suspect Already in Custody, Charged By Elk Grove Police With Harassing Victim

A man who was already in custody at the Sacramento County Jail was arrested by Elk Grove Police on additional charges.

Harold Joseph Marshall, 42, of Redding, California faces charges after he allegedly sent letters to a person who had a protective order issued against him. Marshall was charged with felony stalking, trying to dissuade a victim from testifying, and misdemeanor willful violation of a domestic violence charge.

Marshall was in custody for 2017 charges that included felony stalking. The current bail is $140,000. The suspect also has charges pending from Lassen County.

Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday. March 6.
