Elk Grove Credit Union Robbed, Police Seek Assistance ID'ing Suspect

Elk Grove Police released a surveillance photo of a suspect who robbed a credit union this afternoon. 


According to police reports, the unknown suspect entered the Golden One Credit Union branch on Bruceville Road at 3:25 p.m. today and handed a noted to a teller demanding cash. The noted indicated he was armed with a gun but it was not displayed. 


After the teller complied with the demands of the note, the suspect left the credit union. The suspect was witnessed was seen walking south through the parking lot. 

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male adult, 40-50 years of age, 6’0”, 200 pounds and was a blue long sleeve shirt, with a blue t-shirt underneath, a straw hat with a dark colored band and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Calls to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
