Domestic Violence Suspect Allegedly Makes Threats With Tire Iron, Vandalizes Victim's Vehicle

A man suspected of domestic violence and damaging his victim's vehicle is in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after being arrested by Elk Grove Police.

According to police reports, Jerome Anton Ganaway, 31, of Sacramento was in an argument with his female victim when he body checked the victim causing injury. Ganaway then allegedly vandalized the victim's vehicle with a piece of lumber and raised a tire iron towards her in a threatening manner.

Ganaway then fled the scene in a vehicle and was located a short distance away where he was arrested. The suspect is held on three misdemeanor and one felony charge with bail set at $510,000.

The victim was issued an emergency protective order against Ganaway.
