In a podcast interview, Elk Grove resident Jaclyn Moreno discusses her candidacy for the Cosumnes Community Services District. For the 2018 election cycle, there are two seats on the five-member board of directors that will appear on the November ballot and Moreno is one of four declared candidates.

Perhaps the most important take away from this interview was one sentence where Ms. Moreno referenced the casino. When Mr. Gougherty said, I believe the word was "proposed" in reference to the casino, Ms. Moreno seemed to put emphasis on will be built. Perhaps her early alliance to former Mayor Gary Davis is providing her information not possessed by the rest of the populace.
