A probationer was arrested by Elk Grove Police after receiving a call of suspicious activity.

Just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, police received a report of suspicious activity on the 8800 block Wheelton. Responding officers located Steven Kim, 30, of Sacramento, hiding in a side yard of a residence.

After Kim allegedly refused to follow instructions, he attempted to flee. Officers were able to prevent him from fleeing and Kim then resisted the officers who were able to detain him.
