Bomb threat suspect arrested by Elk Grove Police, held on $50,000 bail



A man who allegedly called in a bomb threat has been arrested by Elk Grove Police.

This morning Eric A. Schiecke, 40, of Sacramento was taken into custody at his residence. Schiecke is being held at the county jail on a $50,000 bail with one felony count of false report of planting a bomb.

Schiecke allegedly left a voicemail message at Elk Grove Ford threatening a bomb. The voicemail was left sometime between 8:30 pm on Friday, August 16 night and 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 17. 

Elk Grove Police inspected the facility and no devices were located. Schiecke will be arraigned on Thursday, August 22.
