Friday night DUI, drivers license checkpoint to be conducted by Elk Grove Police




As part of their on-going effort to address impaired driving, the Elk Grove Police have announced a DUI and drivers' license checkpoint will be held this weekend.

The checkpoint will start at 7 p.m on Friday, September 6 and will run through 3 a.m. on Saturday, September 7. The location of the checkpoint within Elk Grove city limits was not disclosed.

Funding for the sobriety checkpoint is provided through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
