Probationer arrested by Elk Grove Police after being found near closed auto mall business with burglary tools



A Sacramento man is in custody at the county jail after he was allegedly found in possession of burglary tools.

Just after 2 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, Vyachelslav Bogdan, 28, was found pulling into a parking lot of a closed business on the 8500 block of Laguna Grove Drive in the Elk Grove Auto Mall. After being contacted by police, it was learned Bogdan had an active arrest warrant and was on probation. 

A probation search led to the discovery of burglary tools. Bogdan is not eligible for release and will be arraigned on Monday, September 9.
