Traffic to be affected by procession for El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Ishmael

The California Highway Patrol has issued a traffic advisory for the funeral procession for El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Ishmael.

The procession will start in Rocklin and work its way toward Placerville. The procession will be between noon and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5.

Traffic will be affected in the following areas: 
  • Highway 65 southbound at Stanford Ranch
  • Interstate 80 eastbound at Highway 65 to Sierra College Blvd.
  • Sierra College Blvd and Hazel Ave between I-80 and SR-50
  • State Route 50 eastbound from Hazel Ave. to Placerville
The CHP is advising motorist if travel on these roads is necessary, please bring emergency supplies like medication, water, and any other items that you might need if you find yourself caught on an affected highway.
