EGN's headline picture is right on the money. That just about sums it up--Elk Grove is fast becoming "Crack Seal City".

This cheap fix buys about 2 years before the cracks reappear again. Fresh overlay paving costs money and does not grab the headlines like District 56 or the Green Wave!

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Elk Grove' go make it happen
Take the world in a commuters embrace
Fire all of your crack seal guns at once
And explode into space

I like smoke and asphalt
Red light thunder
Racin' with the Green Wave
And the feelin' that I'm flying
Yeah Elk Grove go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your crack seal guns at once
And explode into space
Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be gridlocked
We can climb so high
I never wanna die
Born to be gridlocked
Born to be gridlocked
