The Sacramento Sheriff's Department made an arrest in an October 2019 murder.
Yesterday, homicide detectives arrested Marquese Fields, 29, in the shooting death of 23-year-old Frank O’Neil near the intersection of Bogey Court and Par Parkway in South Sacramento on October 6. The relationship between the suspect and the victim is being investigated.
Fields was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail is charged with murder and a felon in possession of a firearm. Arraignment is on Monday, March 16.
