Elk Grove murder suspect turns himself in at Sacramento County Main Jail




A suspect wanted by Elk Grove Police for a March homicide in Elk Grove turned himself in this afternoon.

Marvin Edward Stephney (pictured below), 36, of Sacramento, surrendered himself late this afternoon at the Sacramento County Main Jail. Stephney was arrested on suspicion of the March 17 homicide of 34-year old Davon Leason-Shafter and is not eligible for bail.

Arraignment has not been scheduled as of this posting.
