Wow, it's so disappointing to see EGN promoting such racist views.

McConnell showed his true feelings when he made this statement and even in his first corrected statement once someone had pointed out to him the inappropriateness of it. These Trumpsters are slowly but surely leading our country to regress to the 1950's Jim Crow America all over again.

They all need to be voted out of office and replaced by those who have visions of unity, equality, and those who will honor the US Constitution instead of fight to break it down.

Wake up, America! - The fight for our democracy has started.

Let's not forget what former Republican U.S. Senate leader Mr. Trent Lott said upon the retirement of segregationist Sen. Strom Thurmond:

"I want to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years."

Do we see a pattern?

To Unknown: How is pointing out blatant racist comments made by a lifelong Washington politician not newsworthy and how does it promote racist views? If anything it exposes high ranking Republicans racist views and the Good 'Ol Boy's wishes for a return to the 1950's Jim Crow days.
It exposes McConnell for who he really is.

Congress needs new blood with progressive ideas for our future. Thanks EGN for not letting this go unnoticed.
