Air BnB party house rental in Elk Grove site of early morning murder






Early this morning after police responded to a call about gunshots they discovered a homicide at an Elk Grove Air BnB rental.

According to information released by Elk Grove Police, at 2:06 a.m. officers responded to the 7400 block of Brandamore Court regarding a shooting that had taken place. Upon arrival, officers found one victim inside the residence.

The victim, an 18-year-old male, succumbed to his injury despite life-saving efforts. EGPD detectives responded to the scene and have been actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The preliminary investigation indicates the residence was an Airbnb rental being used for a party. and detectives estimate that about 10-15 people were in attendance. However, most were gone when officers arrived.

At this time, a suspect has not been identified, and the motive is unknown. The name of the victim has not been released and identification will be made by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
