Surprise! Sky River Casino opens, Elk Grove Police issues traffic advisory

With no advance announcement, today the Wilton Rancheria opened their Sky River Casino in Elk Grove.

Located on California Highway 99 and Grant Line road on the south side of the city, the opening has prompted the Elk Grove Police to issue this advisory:

With Sky River finally opening, we expect many people to plan to check it out. Please know when the casino parking lots or the interior reaches max capacity, Sky River staff will shut them down. Heavy traffic is expected for several weeks near the new entertainment facility.
