Law enforcement hits Sacramento Supervisor District 5 candidate Jaclyn Moreno with online attack ads

Online advertisements that started appearing today have targeted Democratic Sacramento County Board of Supervisor District 5 candidate, Jaclyn Moreno.

One ad calls Moreno a do-nothing politician, and another shows a picture of an encampment, saying that is her idea of “open space.” The click-through leads to the Californians for a Growing Economy and Safe Streets.

Strangely, the site contains no further information about Moreno, or her opponent, Republican Pat Hume. Funding for the groups is from the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriff’s Political Action Committee, Western Electrical Contractors Association Good Government PAC, and Peace Officers Research Association of California.
