VIDEO - With volunteer and family support, Bermudez continues daily Elk Grove City Council District 4 canvassing

As if to fulfill the description of a supporter who said he is a family man for a family community, with the support of his family and several volunteers, Gieze Bermudez continues his canvassing operation in Elk Grove's District 4 city council race.

We caught up with Bermudez, his wife, and three children who were canvassing a District 4 neighborhood today. Bermudez is facing Sergio Robles.

Although lacking the institutional cash donors supporting Robles, Bermudez, along with several volunteers, has a daily District 4 canvassing and phone/text bank operation.

During a pause, Bermudez told Elk Grove News he is hearing from voters they want a candidate who has established ties to the community. His opponent initially sought office in District 2, but once Felipe Martin and Rob Brewer entered, Robles established District 4 residency earlier this year.

See Bermudez's comments in the video below.

Hope you win Gieze! I can't vote for you because I don't reside in District 4. Good looking family!

We live in District 4 and was happy to meet you and your family. Especially true was hearing from someone who is a long time resident of this District and is more familiar with our wants and needs. You have our votes for sure.
