Sandbags continue to be available in Elk Grove as another storm moves in

The distribution of sandbags for Elk Grove residents continues as another storm moves into Northern California.

Verified Elk Grove residents are limited to 10 sandbags per household. The distribution is open until 3 p.m. today at the city's corporate yard at 10250 Iron Rock Way.

The distribution is self-serve, and residents must bring their own shovels to fill the bags.

The Sacramento office of the National Weather Service has issued flood warnings and high wind warnings.
