All things considered, calm holiday weekend in Elk Grove

Elk Grove police report not unusual


Given that the Fourth of July was a three day weekend, the chances for criminal activity was high in Elk Grove. A review of the Elk Grove police incident report for Thursday night through early Monday morning showed nothing out of the ordinary.

Unfortunately domestic violence continues to be a problem in Elk Grove. Of the ten incidents logged, four were domestic violence/disturbances.

The police also made two DUI arrest, two public intoxication and one each for shoplifting and juvenile curfew violation.
