We have found a fantastic site, Easy Astronomy, that gives numerous updates about what to look for in the evening sky with the naked eye.
Check it out to see what is going in the sky above us. We only wish we had seen this earlier this summer.

Don't kick yourself to hard for not finding this website earlier in the summer. The stars will still be there in the fall, winter and spring. Only their arrangement will gradually change.
We'll just have to wait until next summer.
