The midnight hour proved to be not so bewitching for a suspected burglar, Drew Ersland.
At approximately midnight, 21 year old Drew Ersland was caught trying to steal a car stereo. The owner of the car, Alexandre Soohoo, tackled Ersland and was able to detain him until Elk Grove police officers arrived.
The attempted burglary occurred on the 6200 block of Laguna Vale Way. Ersland was arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools. The contents were recovered.
