Elk Grove police nab id theives

Niece rips off aunt, cops uncover stolen credit card information, checks


Little did 29-year old Megan Pizarro know that when she stole her aunts wallet it would lead Elk Grove police to bust her and an accomplice.

According to police reports, Pizzarro, who is on probation, had her house searched and the victims possessions were located. Police also located several pieces of mail belonging to neighbors and checks and credit card information. Narcotic paraphernalia was also discovered.

Police also arrested 23-year old Cody Engel. Both were transported to the county jail.
