An update from last week's Bank of America robbery

ELK GROVE, CA – On November 13, 2008 at 4:08 p.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to an attempted bank robbery that had just occurred at the Bank of America located inside the Save Mart Grocery Store located at 7007 Laguna Boulevard .

An unidentified Asian male (photos attached) approached a Bank of America teller and displayed a semi-automatic pistol that was partially concealed inside the sleeve of a sweatshirt and demanded money. The teller did not comply with the suspect’s demands and dropped to the floor. The suspect then fled the store without receiving any money and was last seen running through the parking lot.

The male subject was described as an Asian male adult, twenty to forty years of age, 5’7” (five feet seven inches tall), medium build, collar-length bushy hair with a mustache and goatee. The suspect was wearing a black or dark blue baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt with a design or writing on the front and dark pants.
